Spanish is a delightful little town in Northern Ontario, located on the Trans-Canada Highway 17 between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie and right on the North Channel of Lake Huron. Although the town has always been called Spanish, it was formerly known as the Township of Shedden. It officially became the Town of Spanish in 2004.
